Where did you first meet?

Katie and I met for the first time at my apartment when I was living in Fultondale AL. We have two stories as to how we met. Most people now know the truth. I had a friend that lived in Hoover. I met him one day at the Chick-Fil-A for lunch which happened to be where Katie worked. I noticed her working by the window and we made eye contact. I knew when we did that I wasn't leaving without her number. Luckily for me she took lunch about the same time, and she replied to my text later that evening. 

The other is that we both made Tinder accounts by peer pressure from our friends. We both thought it was a joke but ended up being matches and talked. Katie was being very cold with replying, so I decided to brake the ice. I asked what her story was? If she was a serial killer, picked her nose, or had a weird growth?? That was the first of many conversations together. 

So which one was it?

When did you first know that he/she was the one you wanted to marry?

Katie - When I first knew that I wanted to spend the rest of my life with Thomas was one night we had gone to dinner in Hoover, we had gotten back to my moms apartment. We sat in his car and talked for bit. We were holding hands and it just clicked that our hands fit perfectly in each others hand. We are each others missing puzzle piece in life. 

Thomas, When two people meet each other that are meant to be together there isn't much "work" that has to be put into a relationship, at least thats what it feels like to me. We are each others person, Katie is my best friend. Neither one of use like to do anything without the other. She supports me with my likes and I do the same with her. We one were sitting at a Jacks eating a burger and a 55 Chevrolet drove by. Katie, with a mouth full of food, starts grunting and pointing at the window. I never saw the car. She said Freds car just drove by!! (my grandfather has a 55). I knew a long time ago but that moment will forever stick in my memory that if I didn't ask for her hand in marriage I would never get another chance to have my best life.
